Romany Gypsy Wedding 2011
Roseanne and Luke invited me to photograph their wedding day. Having previously photographed Roseanne’s sister’s wedding some time before, I knew that I could get behind the scenes of the actual wedding and photograph the people. The couple were both from Welsh Romany Gypsy families.
The best images came at the family home, prior to the wedding, and at the reception which was held in a rugby club up on a hill above the Ebbw Fach Valley.
Sadly Luke passed away in 2014 and I’ve lost touch with Roseanne since providing some photos for his funeral.
