The Old Stable Gallery is in Leominster Information Centre, Corn Square, Leominster HR6 8YP
This photography exhibition consists of 33 black and white prints and a slideshow of 60 photos that reflect some of the people, places and culture of Leominster that I unwittingly captured as I taught myself how to take photos in my late teens and early 20s.
I’ve been taking photos around Leominster since the late 1970’s, however I have about 10,000 black and white film photos that I took from 1982 to 1999. I’ve scanned about 100 of these negatives and whittled the final selection down to these images, which will be on display until 31st May 2025 at The Old Stable Gallery in Leominster.
I’m hoping people will tell me who I photographed, as I often had no idea who people were!
The Old Stable Gallery is located within the town council building, at the back of the Information Centre at 11 Corn Square, Leominster, just keep going through the centre and a wonderful gallery space will appear.
The Gallery is open Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 4pm, unless there is a meeting being held. So if you are coming from afar, just give them a call on 01568 616460.
